Right now I have my folders labeled out according to subject areas on my computer. I know what kind of work each of these folders contain, so as I decide which specific items I want from each, I can move them in to designated EP folders. Right now I also have a pretty good idea as to what I would like to use in each of my areas, and will probably wind up posting some extra items as well. I am still trying to figure out what site I would like to use in order to host my Portfolio. I would like to use something that looks professional, and is yet still easy to configure and upload items to.
UPDATE: I have decided to use Weebly to host my Portfolio. Its URL is: www.sacogdillteachingportfolio.weebly.com

One of the additional categories that I was considering was an annotated list of YAL books that I have encountered. This way I can present my knowledge of the YAL spectrum and how they can be used in a middle school classroom in a professional manner.
Another possible category would be my growth as a student in the Education program. From the beginning ECI classes, I have had the opportunity to write papers on my philosophy of education. It has been ever changing as I learn more about the field, and having my prior ones listed as well as a new one would show my journey through the program.
I am still fleshing out some other ideas, and as I decide which ones would be the most beneficial and professional I will decide permanently on them.

I want the design of my portfolio to reflect a peaceful journey. The journey aspect comes from the growth part that I have personally done throughout my college years. I want it to have a peaceful part though because I don't think that students' journeys in their education should be stressful or rushed. As I find things that relate to this experience, I will incorporate them in to my overall site design.

I have managed to create all of my pages for the various parts of the portfolio. I am still trying to figure out after talking with Bethany if I like the way that the menu flows, but it will do for now as I decide. I am still trying to think of another additional category, as of right now I only have one extra one and it is for Odyssey of the Mind.

I picked a website theme that I like and that I think reflects both my overall portfolio theme and is business-minded at the same time. I have gone through the pages and added quotes that I think relate to the particular pages, and overall I am very happy with how it currently looks. I have also begun my annotated class list to post on the page as well. I have uploaded various videos and linked all of my 21st century technology skills to their pages as well.

I changed my theme to something that looks more professional, while still reflecting my portfolio theme. I have begun uploading several of my evidences, and am still trying to think of an additional category to add. I still need to work on completing my annotated list, and also need to think about what kind of information I will post on the Odyssey of the Mind page.
